For each pair, pick the one that matters more to you in a relationship right now. There are no right answers, and neither option is healthier than the other.
Step 1 of 12
Here are the values you chose most often across the 12 questions.
Read them as a snapshot of your priorities today. They don't combine into a personality type, a score, or a compatibility rating, and they can change with your life.
This is a reflection on your choices, not a psychological assessment or prediction.
Understanding relationship values
A relationship value is a principle you want to be able to see in ordinary behavior: honesty, reliability, autonomy, care, fairness, or growth. It's not a trait you demand, a rule you enforce, or a personality type you score.
When you can name your values, disagreements stop being "who is right" and become "which principle felt absent here." That makes them workable.
For a fuller walkthrough of separating values from preferences and expectations, read Relationship Values: What Matters Most to You?. If you're still clarifying the overall relationship experience you want, use What Do I Want in a Relationship?.
How it works
Whether direct truth matters more than comfort, and whether you can own mistakes openly.
Whether follow-through and kept promises matter more than flexibility and adaptation.
Whether independence and personal space matter more than togetherness and shared routines.
Whether everyday gestures and noticing matter more than grand moments or formal support.
Whether shared decisions and mutual support matter more than individual freedom.
Whether learning and change matter more than stability and predictability.
The result shows which of these you chose most often. It doesn't rank you against anyone, and it doesn't say which values are better. It's a way to make your own priorities more concrete.
A useful distinction
A value is a principle you want decisions and treatment to reflect across situations. A preference is a way of doing things that tends to feel better to you but may allow flexibility.
If honesty matters to you, that's a value. Wanting a text before plans change may be one preference for how consideration and reliability show up. Two people can share a value while expressing it differently, or share the same habit for very different reasons.
For a broader look at the patterns behind your preferences, read about relationship patterns and how they show up in how you connect. For a shorter reflection on closeness, communication, care, and space, try the Love Style Test.
Values over time
Yes. Experience and life circumstances can shift what receives the most weight. Someone who prioritized autonomy in their twenties might value reliability more after building a family, or the reverse.
This assessment is a snapshot of 12 choices made today. It isn't a prediction about how you'll feel next year, and it isn't a label to carry around.
The AmorKind approach
AmorKind is a private, local-first app for relationship self-discovery. Instead of a questionnaire that scores you, you make small visual choices. Each choice leads to a reveal: your Connection Pattern, then a Visual Muse you pick to represent your Love World, then the first fragments of that world.
The same loop continues after setup. Today gives you one daily reveal at a time. Visual Journeys are themed sequences of visual choices with a coordinated reveal. Connections lets you reflect on a real person with plain-language prompts, without scores or rankings.
A Visual Muse is a pre-generated illustration identity you choose to represent your Love World. It is not a predicted real person. AmorKind never generates a face from your answers and never claims to know who you'll meet.
